St. John's Hospital Springfield Illinois issued the following announcement on Sept. 1.
This is the 3rd Annual St. John's College Scrubs RuN! This 5k walk/run will be hosted at Washington Park in Springfield, Ill., on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 9 am. The students have been working hard to make this an exciting and joyful activity for friends, family, alumni, and the people of our community. Proceeds of the Scrubs RuN go toward nursing scholarships to give our future caregivers more opportunities to receive a quality education at SJC. It is $35 for the general public, $25 for the students ans just $5 for kids 5-12. Visit https://runsignup.com/scrubrun2019 to register. All proceeds will benefit scholarships for our nursing students.
