Auburn home prices fall in December 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2017 in Auburn fell by $16,100 while total sales increased by 150%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2017, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $122,400 - a 11.6% decrease over the $138,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Auburn in December 2016.

The median sales tax in Auburn for 2017 was $1,705. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,736. This marks an decrease of 1.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.4%.
