Route 4/ Route 97 home prices rise in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Route 4/ Route 97, a Springfield neighborhood, rose by $1,950 while total sales decreased by 4.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were 106 homes sold, with a median sale price of $89,950 - a 2.2% increase over the $88,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 111 homes sold in Route 4/ Route 97 in 2016.

The median sales tax in Route 4/ Route 97 for 2017 was $1,853. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,907. This marks an decrease of 2.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.1%.
