Middletown home prices fall in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Middletown fell by $18,000 while total sales remained unchanged with three homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $50,000 - a 26.5% decrease over the $68,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Middletown in the first half of 2018, as well.

The median sales tax in Middletown for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $943, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
