Sangamon County Finance Committee met Jan. 28.

Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

Members Present: Clyde Bunch, Annette Fulgenzi, Linda Fulgenzi, Craig Hall, Tom Madonia, George Preckwinkle, Rose Ruzic, Todd Smith, Greg Stumpf, Lori Williams

Members Absent: Lisa Hills, David Mendenhall, John O’Neill, Cathy Scaife

Others Present: Eric Black, Mike Cowles, Bill Dart, Tim Eggleston, Andy Goleman, Josh Langfelder, Brian

McFadden, Charlie Stratton, Terry Viar, Denise McCrady (Secretary) Chair Preckwinkle called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.

A motion to approve the minutes of the January 14, 2020 Committee meeting was made by Hall and seconded by Bunch. Motion carried (10-0).

Tim Eggleston, Comptroller, requested approval of the application and acceptance of the SCAAP grant, approval to hire two replacement Correctional Officers and to hire a replacement Control Room Operator. A motion to all requests was made by Madonia and seconded by Smith. Motion carried (10-0).

Andy Goleman, Auditor, requested approval of the application and acceptance of the IPRF Safety Grant, to approve an amendment to the travel request for Mike Cowles, and the travel request for Eric Black to attend the Tyler New World ERP System Training. A motion to approve all requests was made by Stumpf and seconded by L. Fulgenzi. Motion carried (10-0).

Josh Langfelder, Recorder, requested approval to hire a Part Time-Seasonal employee. A motion to approve the request was made by Hall and seconded by Stumpf. Motion carried (10-0).

Bill Dart, Public Health, requested approval to hire a replacement LEHP. A motion to approve the request was made by Ruzic and seconded by A. Fulgenzi. Motion carried (10-0).

A motion for the acceptance of the purchase reports was made by Williams and seconded by A. Fulgenzi. Motion carried (10-0).

There was no Old Business or Public Comment.

A motion to adjourn was made Bunch and seconded by Smith. Motion carried (10-0). Meeting adjourned.
