American Chamber of Commerce In Poland issued the following announcement on April 18.
Smithfield Polska together with Animex Polska and Agri Plus produce 3000 protective face masks per day in their own feather factory in Krakow for the needs of the hospitals and employees of their plants. In addition they donated PLN 1.5 million in cash to Polish hospitals fighting against coronavirus and will distribute 750,000 pieces of medical equipment to hospitals next week. They also started to donate some of their food locally to Foodbank at the very beginning of the epidemic and will be carrying out comprehensive deliveries at the turn of April/ May this year
