Cost of college went up for all students at Lincoln College

Tuition and fees rose 2.8 percent for 2018-19 at Lincoln College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $18,600 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $500 more than the $18,100 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 87 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 257 students received grants or scholarships totaling $3.9 million and 244 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.6 million.

Including all undergraduates (968), 915 students used grants or scholarships totaling $11.4 million, and 778 students took out $5.6 million in federal student loans.
