Village of Chatham Fire & Police Commission met Nov. 18.

Attendance

Chairman Woods – Present

Commissioner Vanderkooy -- Present

Commissioner Koester – Absent

Call to Order and Public Comment

Chairman Woods called the meeting to order and there were no public comments.

Approval of Previous Minutes

A motion was made by Commissioner Vanderkooy and seconded by Chairman Woods to approve the minutes of the August 19, 2020 Chatham Fire & Police Commission meeting. The motion was approved unanimously.

Sergeant List Update

Chairman Woods provided an update on the status of the sergeant list and stated that an emergency meeting will be needed to certify the list.

Set 2021 Police Commission Meeting Dates

The dates for the Police Commission Meeting for 2021 are as follows: February 17, May 19, August 18 and November 17.

Recognition of Office off of Probationary Status

Chairman Woods and Commissioner Vanderkooy recognized the following officers on their completion of their probation status: Logan Muncy, Adam Hahn and Travis Laseedy.

Chief Foli’s Update

Chief Foli also congratulated the officers and stated that he hoped that more officers could be hired in the next fiscal year.

Adjournment

A motion to adjourn was made by Commissioner Vanderkooy and seconded by Chairman Woods. By a voice vote, the motion was approved.
