Lincoln home prices fell in May 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2019 in Lincoln fell by $16,300 while total sales decreased by 20.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2019, there were 27 homes sold, with a median sale price of $84,700 - a 16.1% decrease over the $101,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 34 homes sold in Lincoln in May 2018.

The median sales tax in Lincoln for 2019 was $1,863. In 2018, the median sales tax was $1,822. This marks an increase of 2.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.2%.
