Report: Grant School District spent $12,667 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Grant Community Consolidated School District 110 was up 7.7 percent from five years ago, according to the Sangamon Sun analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Saint Clair County school district spent $11,760 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $12,667 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 607 to 618 students over the same period.

Grant's spending in 2019-20 was 12.6 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
