What happened to the median home price in Lincoln during the second half of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Lincoln rose by $7,000 while total sales increased by 10.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 165 homes sold, with a median sale price of $90,000 - a 8.4% increase over the $83,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 149 homes sold in Lincoln in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Lincoln for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,863, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
