Report: Flanagan-Cornell School District spent $13,996 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Flanagan-Cornell District 74 was up 24.1 percent from five years ago, according to the Sangamon Sun analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Livingston County school district spent $11,277 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $13,996 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 342 to 345 students over the same period.

Flanagan-Cornell's spending in 2019-20 was 3.4 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
