Illinois College men’s cross country starts season with seventh place at UIS Invitational

The Illinois College men's cross country team commenced its 2024 season with a seventh-place finish at the UIS Invitational on Friday in Springfield, Illinois. The Blueboys achieved a team score of 204 points.

Leading the team was Robby Biesenthal, who placed 46th overall with a time of 23:40.21. Devin Boggs closely followed, finishing 47th in 23:42.26.

Nick Hannig secured the third spot for Illinois College, placing 64th overall with a time of 24:14.13.

Additional contributions came from Ryan Gerdes, who finished 92nd in 25:30.10; Jack Bacon, who placed 100th in 26:17.10; and Bradyn Anderson, who completed the race in 108th place with a time of 26:54.28.

The Blueboys will next compete at the Bradley Intercollegiate in Peoria, Illinois on September 20th at 5:15 p.m.
