Sophia Kriegesmann named MWC defensive performer of the week

Illinois College's Sophia Kriegesmann was named the Midwest Conference Women's Soccer Performer of the Week, the league announced today.

Kriegesmann, a sophomore from O'Fallon, Mo., helped IC achieve a 1-0-1 record for the week. She recorded six saves in goal during the draw with Augustana on Wednesday and followed that with 45 minutes of shutout play in the win over Principia on Thursday.
