Rep. Rosenthal marked National Hunting and Fishing Day with a message celebrating the tradition of hunting in his family. He emphasized that it provides an opportunity to spend time with his sons, whom he described as "the best hunting partners I could ask for."
The Illinois Conservation Foundation (ICF) announced the success of its 2023 Director’s Hunt, held for the ninth consecutive year. The event is organized in partnership with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) to support conservation efforts and youth education.
The two-day hunt took place on November 27th and 28th at Jim Edgar Panther Creek State Fish and Wildlife Area. Hunters from across Illinois participated, sharing laughs and stories while engaging in pheasant and chukar hunting. Volunteer dog handlers assisted during the event.
