The Illinois College women's cross country team participated in the NCAA Division III Pre-Nationals on Friday night at the LaVern Gibson Championship Course in Terre Haute, Indiana. The event saw sophomore Morgan Carrino leading the Lady Blues with a finish time of 26:39.03.

Caroline Peters, also a sophomore, was the second finisher for Illinois College with a time of 27:09.7. Freshman Hannah Claghorn followed as the third finisher for the team, completing her run in 28:35.4. Junior Claire Peters came next with a time of 28:55.9, while senior Patricia Rivera rounded out the team's performance clocking in at 34:23.0.

The Lady Blues are scheduled to compete again on Saturday, October 19th at the Augustana Interregional Invitational in Rock Island, Illinois, with the race set to begin at 11:00 a.m.
