Midwest Conference releases preseason poll for women's swimming and diving

The Midwest Conference has announced the results of its Preseason Coaches Poll for women's swimming and diving. Illinois College's Lady Blues are predicted to finish seventh overall, with a total of 24 points.

Grinnell College is favored to win the league, having received 63 points. The Pioneers are the reigning champions from the 2021-22 season and have secured eight conference titles since 2013.

The Lady Blues will rely on returning key contributors such as Jenna Kenning, who holds the Illinois College school records in both the 100-yard backstroke and the 200-yard backstroke, and Marjori Russo, who set the school record in the 200-yard freestyle.

The women's team is scheduled to begin their season on October 22nd with an away meet at Millikin University.
