Tyler Lunning named MWC offensive performer of the week

The Midwest Conference has announced the recipients of its Performers of the Week awards for men's soccer. Tyler Lunning from Illinois College (IC) has been named the MWC Offensive Performer of the Week for October 9-15, 2023.

Lunning received this recognition after scoring three goals on seven shots in two matches. On October 11, against Monmouth College, he scored one of IC's two goals. He followed this with a two-goal performance against Lawrence University on October 14, both goals coming in the second half to secure a 2-0 victory.

Currently, Lunning leads his team with ten goals this season.

The Blueboys are scheduled to face Lake Forest College in an MWC matchup on Saturday, October 21 at 1:30 PM in Lake Forest, Illinois.
