The Blueboys took the lead when Jives Efemini scored an unassisted goal at the 27:53 mark of the first half. However, Lake Forest's Gustavo Machado equalized late in the game at the 83:08 mark, ensuring both teams shared the points.
Throughout the match, Lake Forest had a total of 15 shots compared to Illinois College's nine. For Illinois College, Thomas Menke and Tyler Lunning each contributed two shots to their team's effort, while goalkeeper Owen Macias made eight saves.
Looking ahead, Illinois College will face Cornell College on Wednesday at England Field for another Midwest Conference match scheduled for 7 p.m.
