The Illinois College men's and women's tennis teams faced challenging matches in a doubleheader against Anderson University and Lourdes University. Both teams experienced 0-9 losses in the contests.
For the men's team, Ethan Sabotta showed resilience by winning three games in his first set and four in a competitive second set against Lourdes. Sabotta, alongside Derek Wilkinson, also demonstrated strong teamwork as the No.1 doubles team, securing three game wins against Anderson.
On the women's side, Michelle Maag, Lily Ingram, and Shya Prescott led their team by pushing their singles matches to third-set tiebreakers against Anderson.
Looking ahead, the women's team is scheduled to host Illinois Wesleyan on Friday at 5:00 PM. Meanwhile, the men's team will travel to face Greenville on Thursday at 3:00 PM.
