Dylan Doss played a significant role in the Illinois College men's track and field team's success at the Jim Green Invite held on Saturday at King Field House, Jacksonville, Illinois. Doss secured victories in three events, showcasing his athletic prowess.

In the 60-meter dash, Doss finished first with a time of 7.00 seconds. He continued his winning streak by clinching the 200 meters with a time of 22.43 seconds. The freshman from Sterling, Illinois, capped off his day by participating in the victorious 4x200 relay team alongside Carter Wasson, Jaden Saunders, and DJ Williams. The team completed the race in 1:30.75.

Other notable performances for Illinois College included Jackson Lee's win in the pole vault event with a height of 4.20 meters and Adam Hernandez's victory in the 60-meter hurdles clocking at 8.79 seconds. Lee was narrowly behind Hernandez with a time of 8.90 seconds.

Will Detmer achieved second place in the 800 meters with a time of 1:59.72 while also contributing to a third-place finish for the Distance Medley Relay team along with Elgin Scherff, Will Bateman, and Caden Dettmer; they completed their race in 11:04.91.

In field events, Xander Moushon placed fourth in weight throw reaching a distance of 15.64 meters and Deon Rodgers followed closely with fifth place at 15.25 meters.

The team will continue its season next weekend as it travels to Monmouth for the Rogers Haynes Invite scheduled to start at 10:45 a.m.
