The Illinois College women's soccer team faced a challenging match against Lake Forest, resulting in a 4-1 loss during a Midwest Conference game at England Stadium. The outcome moved Illinois College to an overall record of 9-5-3 and 1-3-2 in conference play. Meanwhile, Lake Forest solidified its leading position with a record of 11-2-3 and 6-0-1 in the conference.
Lake Forest initiated the scoring early, with Caitlin Mulchay finding the net just 2:41 into the game. McKenzie Murray responded for Illinois College, leveling the score at 19:16. However, Anna Gracia restored Lake Forest's lead shortly before halftime with a goal at the 42:23 mark. In the latter stages of the match, Anna Hoffman scored twice (75:45 and 76:43) to secure victory for Lake Forest.
The Foresters dominated offensively with 19 shots compared to Illinois College's nine. McKenzie Murray led her team with three shots, while Olivia Ralston contributed two. Stella Gonzalez made four saves for Illinois College.
