Lincoln Land Community College opens scholarship applications for upcoming academic year

The Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC) Foundation has announced the opening of its scholarship application period for the 2025-2026 academic year. Applications will be accepted from November 15, 2024, through February 15, 2025. The scholarships are available to both first-time and continuing students who plan to enroll at LLCC either full-time or part-time starting in fall 2025.

The foundation offers several scholarships that are open to students across various programs of study. The average award amount is approximately $1,500 per academic year.

In related news, State Representative Mike Coffey recently attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony at LLCC. The event marked the completion of renovations to Menard Hall. According to Rep. Coffey, "I joined legislators and leaders for a ribbon cutting at Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC) to celebrate renovations made to Menard Hall." He noted that the redesigned space aims to enhance student services by providing a one-stop-shop for campus assistance.

Rep. Coffey emphasized the importance of investing in community colleges like LLCC, stating that such institutions continue to prioritize student learning.
