On February 5, 2025, Rep. Budzinski expressed her commitment to inclusivity by highlighting her collaboration with Special Olympics Illinois. She stated: "I always love meeting with @SO_Illinois and I'm proud to work with them in Congress to build a more inclusive world! Their programs have given countless kids the opportunity to play, compete and grow – including my nephew Noah!".

The best way to do that is through a tax code that prioritizes the needs of working people by investing in workforce training programs, reducing tax burdens on workers and supporting new markets for Illinois farmers."

The following day on February 6, 2025, Budzinski announced her support for legislative measures aimed at protecting public servants from political interference. She noted: "I'm proud to cosponsor @GerryConnolly's Saving the Civil Service Act that would block President Trump from implementing Schedule F – a policy that would make it easier for him to fire public servants who disagree with him."
