Chatham fire district receives $15,000 grant for new equipment

The Chatham Community Fire Protection District is set to receive a $15,000 grant from Energy Transfer. The funds are earmarked for the purchase of gas meters and thermal imaging cameras, which will enhance the district's operational capabilities.

This grant comes as part of Energy Transfer's First Responder Fund, designed to provide financial assistance to local fire departments, police departments, and emergency medical services. The program focuses on addressing the needs of these organizations by offering necessary funding.
