Illinois College athlete Dylan Doss has been recognized as the Midwest Conference Track Performer of the Week for the second time this season, according to an announcement made by the league today.

Doss, a sophomore from Sterling, Illinois, achieved notable success at the IC Hilltop Classic on Friday. He claimed victory in both the 200-meter dash and the 60-meter dash. In the 200-meter event, he clocked a time of 21.86 seconds, setting a new record for King Field House. Additionally, his performance in the 60-meter dash matched his season-best time of 6.84 seconds, which currently stands as the fastest in the conference.

This marks the fourth occasion that Doss has received conference performer of the week honors during his tenure with Illinois College's Blueboys track team.

The Illinois College men's and women's track and field teams are scheduled to participate in the Midwest Conference Indoor Championships at Monmouth this coming Friday and Saturday.
