The Illinois College Clay Target Team will hold a recruiting event on Saturday, May 3rd, starting at 10:00 a.m. on the Illinois College campus, located at 1101 W College Ave. The event is free for prospective athletes and offers an opportunity to engage with coaches and learn more about the program.

Check-in for the event begins at 10:00 a.m. The event will include trap shooting and sporting clays at the Sportsman's Club in Jacksonville, with the main team shoot set to commence at 1:00 p.m. Additionally, the event will feature trap, sporting clays, and an Annie Oakley event.

The co-ed clay target team is in its second season within the Illinois College Athletic Department. "The squad competes in events like trap, sporting clays, and five stand," states the press release. The program is also a member of the Scholastic Clay Target Program and takes part in ACUI Clay Target competitions.

“The Recruiting event is a chance for prospective student-athletes to meet coaches and learn more about the program,” continues the release. Prospective students interested in participating may register for the event.
