Illinois Wesleyan University secured a narrow 4-3 win over the Illinois College women's tennis team on Monday evening in Bloomington, Illinois. The Titans clinched the doubles point by sweeping all three matches, which ultimately determined the outcome of the contest.

With this result, Illinois College’s record moves to 3-3 for the season while Illinois Wesleyan improves to 2-0.

In singles play, both teams won three matches each. Victories for Illinois College came from Clara Bach at No. 2 singles, Sophie Muir at No. 3 singles, and Lily Ingram at No. 4 singles. On the other courts, Amber Ehrlich (No. 1), Adia Douglas (No. 5), and Elana Religioso (No. 6) contributed points for Illinois Wesleyan.
