Illinois College's volleyball team secured a 3–1 win against Franklin College on Friday at the North Park Gymnasium in Chicago. The Lady Blues lost the first set 25–16 but came back to take the next three sets, finishing with scores of 25–20, 25–20, and 25–22.

This victory brings Illinois College's season record to 3-4, while Franklin falls to 5-3.

Riley Drake led the Lady Blues with 10 kills. Alyssa Burglund contributed seven kills and had a hitting percentage of .222. Delani Klaas added eight kills and played a key role at the net. Summer Brandis recorded 14 assists and 12 digs, supporting both offense and defense. Mady Salisbury finished with a team-high 11 digs and also scored two service aces.

The team registered nine service aces overall, with Salisbury, Drake, and Laura Kaiser each tallying two. On defense, Caidyn Tate led with five blocks as Illinois College ended the match with seven total blocks.

Looking ahead, Illinois College will compete in the Windy City Invitational on Saturday. They are scheduled to play Kalamazoo at 2:00 p.m., followed by a match against host North Park at 4:30 p.m.
