The Illinois College Lady Blues golf team competed at the Clash at the Creek tournament, held at Nettle Creek Country Club in Morris, Illinois. The event was hosted by Joliet Community College.
Macie Petropoulos tied for third place individually with a score of 81. The Lady Blues as a team finished third overall, posting a total score of 356. Emily Guest contributed an 86, while Mackenzie Murphy shot an 88. Karlie Basler completed the top four scores for Illinois College with a 101.
According to the team, this marks the fourth time freshman Macie Petropoulos has placed in the top five during her first five tournaments with the Lady Blues.
The Lady Blues are scheduled to compete next at the Dechert Classic, which will be hosted by Millikin University on Friday and Saturday in Decatur, Illinois.
