Myles Kampwerth secured second place at the Clash at the Creek golf tournament, hosted by Joliet Community College in Morris, Illinois. Kampwerth recorded an even-par round of 71, marking his second lowest score of the season. His performance contributed to Illinois College Blue Boys Golf finishing fourth as a team with a total score of 306.
Other notable performances for Illinois College included Drake Bartos and AJ Odle, who each shot a 78. Emmitt Brokaw rounded out the team’s scoring with a 79. Additional individual scores were Teddy Walbaum and Ian Otto with 80, Isaac Anderson with 83, and Zach Diekemper with 88.
The Blueboys will have a break before their next competition, which is scheduled for October 25-26 at the Prarie Fire Fall Classic in Galesburg, Illinois.
