The Illinois College Blueboys secured a 2–0 win against Buena Vista University in the latest MVEC Valorant match. The team demonstrated control throughout both maps, Lotus and Ascent, each ending with a score of 13–2.
On Lotus, which was Buena Vista’s map choice, the Blueboys established an early lead and maintained momentum. The second map, Ascent, saw Illinois College using a defensive composition despite starting on attack. The team led 10–2 at halftime and finished with another 13–2 victory.
Player statistics highlighted strong performances across the roster. Carter Naeve recorded 17 kills, 10 deaths, and 10 assists. Ekko Nguyen contributed 17 kills and led in assists with 19. Jonest Eisfelder had the highest number of kills at 34 along with 11 assists. Fray Moulton posted a KDA of 3.62 and Dwight Duijneve achieved the highest ACS at 416.
The Blueboys are scheduled to play their next NECC Valorant match against Illinois State University on Monday, September 29th at 8:00 p.m.
