The Illinois College Blueboys secured two consecutive 4–0 victories against Indiana State in NECC Smash Bros competition, achieving a clean sweep on September 23, 2025.
Indiana State’s team included notable players such as their Daisy anchor, EZBREEZY, who was defeated by Jake Petrovich in the first game and Julian Luaders in the second. The Luigi player, The Stankmaster, presented the toughest opposition for Illinois College by claiming a total of 11 stocks during the series. Despite this challenge, Indiana State's remaining roster was unable to keep up with the Blueboys’ performance.
In terms of individual statistics, Jake Petrovich led with six KOs and a K/F ratio of 3.0. Julian Luaders followed with five KOs and a ratio of 2.5. Adam Byrd contributed four KOs while Raiden Sedelmeier added seven KOs but also recorded six falls. Devin Ussery rounded out the lineup with one KO.
Illinois College will participate next in the Get Outplayed 8 LAN Tournament at Bradley University in Peoria on Saturday, September 27.
