The Chatham, Illinois Area Public Library announced this week that it has opened its Annual Art Show.
The show will feature approximately 40 pieces from artists that reside within the village. The show will run throughout March at the library.
Winners from the show will be announced at the opening reception that is scheduled to take place on Friday, March 11 between 5:30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m.
This show is hosted by the library in cooperation with the Chatham Civic Art Collection. Prize winners of the show will be determined by the Chatham Area Public Library Art Committee. The event is also supported by staff from the Chatham Area Public Library District (CAPLD) and Friends of the CAPLD.
All artists must be at least 18 to enter and reside within 80 miles of the village and library district. An exception to the latter rule allowed artists that have previously lived in the village or those that share significant ties to the village to enter the show
The show is expected to run until Friday, April 1
