Sangamon County Jail Committee to discuss grant-approval forms

The Sangamon County Jail Committee will examine grant-approval forms for the Sustained Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) and the State Criminal Alien Assistance Program (SCAAP) at its next meeting at noon Tuesday at the Sangamon County Complex, 200 S. Ninth St.

The committee also will consider several travel-funding requests for officials to attend the 2016 ISA Chief Deputy and Jail Administrators Conference in Peoria and the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators Conference in Indianapolis.
