Prairie Skies Public Library District's board of trustees voted to make a donation to the St. John’s Breadline in Springfield, Illinois in memory of Trustee Gloria Rhoads, who recently passed away.
The board of trustees also discussed prioritizing the inspection of the Ashland branch's roof and exterior in order to check for problems before seeking bids on anything that needs work.
Members also discussed the possibility of changing the date of the board meeting to Monday or starting at an earlier time; discussed the statistics for the month of February; approved a motion to pay bills in the amount of $12,669; and discussed the daily activities of the library and special programming.
