Chatham commission holds hearing on plan to revise subdivision code

The Chatham Planning Commission held a public hearing on a proposal to revise the Village Land Subdivision Ordinance Book at a meeting this week.

The Chatham Planning Commission consists of nine members. Any resident of voting age living in Chatham or in unincorporated Sangamon County within 1½ miles of Chatham can be a member of the Planning Commission. The president will accept recommendations for members from any Chatham resident. Members to the Planning Commission are appointed by the president with the advice and consent of the Village Board of Trustees.
