The Sangamon County Board's Road and Bridge Committee is expected to approve  supplemental engineering agreements with Hanson Professional Services at its next meeting, 6:30 a.m. Wednesday at the County Highway Department.

The Sangamon County Board holds all authority in the county that has not been assigned to elected officials. Overall, the board is responsible for financial management of all county funds and have various regulatory powers, including public health, zoning and building safety.
