Sherman residents are invited to a public meeting on the proposed fiscal 2017 budget 8:30 a.m. Saturday, July 30, at Sherman Village Hall.

LEGAL NOTICE
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Village of Sherman has developed a tentative budget / appropriation ordinance for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 2016 and ending April 30, 2017. Illinois Compiled Statutes (65 ILCS 5/8-2-9) provides that prior to final approval of the appropriation ordinance, the Village hold a public hearing for the purpose of receiving public comment on the tentative ordinance.
The public hearing on the appropriation ordinance will be held before the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Sherman on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at 8:30 a.m. at its Village Hall at 401 St. John Drive, Sherman, IL 62684. The tentative appropriation ordinance is on file at Village Hall and is available for public inspection.
