Prairie Skies Library Board updated on building maintenance

Chairs

At a recent meeting, the Prairie Skies Public Library District Board received a building-maintenance update, including a status report on the facility plan.

The Prairie Skies Public Library District is governed by a board of trustees, consisting of seven members who are elected to four-year terms. The board meets at 6 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month.

1. Call to Order/Roll Call

2. Adoption of Agenda

2.1. Oath of Office for New Officers

2.2. Oath of Office for new Board members

3. Guests: greet guests who are present (5 minute limit)

4. Reports

4.1. Secretary’s Report – Approval of Board Minutes

4.2. Financial Report – Unaudited-For Management purposes

4.3. Review Payment of Bills –

4.4. Director’s Report – Day to day operations of the library-

informational only

4.5. Committees’ Reports – none

5. Unfinished business.

5.1. Updates on progress on facility plan and buildings maintenance

6. New Business.

6.1. Tentative Budget and Appropriation Ordinance

6.2. Set time & date for Public Questions on the Budget

6.3. Appointment of 2 Trustee’s to review last year’s board minutes

6.4. Appoint new Committee members - (Note: the President and Director are to attend

all of the committee meetings. The clerk attends the Budget/Finance and treasurer is

chair. There is to be 3 board members on a committee not counting the president.

6.5. Letter to banks authorizing adding new signatures to accounts and

resolution concerning credit card.
