Sangamon County Civil Liabilities Committee met May 18.

Here is the minutes as provided by the committee:

Present: Craig Hall-Chairman, Mike Sullivan-Vice Chairman, Pam Deppe, Lisa Hills, David Mendenhall, Sam Snell, and Linda Douglas-Williams 

Not Present: Greg Stumpf and Joel Tjelmeland

Others: Andy Goleman, Todd Smith, Dwayne Gab & Mary Carter (secretary)

Chairman Hall called the meeting to order 515p. Hills made a motion to approve the minutes from  April 20th. Sullivan seconded and the motion carried (6-0)

Andy Goleman from the Auditor's Office was present to ask the committee to consider a  resolution for the public health department to use funds from the insurance fund to apply towards the purchase of a new vehicle. Deppe made a motion to approve & Douglas-Williams seconded. Motion carried (6-0.

Dwayne Gab from the State’s Attorney's office was present to update the committee on current litigation. Hills made a motion to go into closed session at 518p and Mendenhall seconded. Chairman Hall asked Mary Carter to call the roll. Roll was called. All said "I" and the motion carried (6-0)

Hills made a motion to come out of closed session at 527p. Sullivan seconded and the motion carried (7-0)

The requisitions were reviewed and signed. Snell made a motion to approve the requisitions and Mendenhall  seconded. Motion carried (7-0)

Threre was no old business or public comment. Hall encouraged the committee to go to the Sangamon County Fair. Deppe made a motion to adjourn  and Douglas-Williams seconded Motion carried (7-0) and the meeting adjourned at 5:30 pm.
