Sangamon County Liquor Committee met August 16.

Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:

Present: Lisa Hills - Chairman, Cathy Scaife - Vice Chairman, Abe Forsyth, Tom Fraase, Linda Fulgenzi, Craig Hall, Brad Miller, Vera Small, Sam Snell, AND Joel Tjelmeland

Not Present: Mike Sullivan

Others: Trustin Harrison, Dwayne Gab, Ron Metzger (Route 66 Motorhead Bar & Grill Llc), Debra Long (The Cottage Inn) and Mary Carter (Secretary)

Chairman Hills called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm. Hills asked for a motion to approve the July 19th minutes. Forsyth made a motion to approve and Snell seconded. Motion carried (10-0)

New License:

• 241-1AA: Route 66 Motorhead Bar & Grill LLC: Ron L. Metzger Tjelmeland made a motion to approve and Fraase seconded. Motion Carried (10-0)

Special Event:

• September 1st & 3rd, 2017: 216-IAA Weebles Bar & Grill: Bike Night Weebles will be putting up a temporary fence to expand their beer garden. Fulgenzi asked if there would be extra Security. Harrison said no. Small made a motion to approve and Hall seconded. Motion Carried (10-0)

New Member (add to the existing license):

• 15-1AA Cottage Inn: Debra Marie Long Fraase made a motion to approve and Scaife seconded. Motion carried (10-0)

Reports:

• Trustin Harrison

• Video gaming report was discussed. 42,000 revenue for the month.

• Tavern incident report was discussed.

Trustin is still working on the outdoor patio rules with Dwayne. Some parameters to consider are that the license must have 60% food revenue, buffer of 100 feet and a 3 ft fence. It’s a $100 permit fee.

There was no public comment.

Scaife made a motion to adjourn & Small seconded. Motion carried (10-0)

Meeting adjourned at 5:18 pm.
