Petersburg Community Fire Protection District responded to 41 calls in 2016, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System obtained by the West Central Reporter.

The calls in Petersburg Community included 20 fires - five structure fires, six vehicle fires and nine other fires.

In all, the department saw $155,900 in fire loss - or about $7,795 per fire.

The department also received 21 false calls.
