Rock 'n' roll combined with a Shakespearian love plot will bring the Glenwood High School stage to life for the school’s “All Shook Up” musical, according to a school press release.
The musical, a mixture of Elvis Presley’s rock 'n’ roll and a love story that mirrors Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night,” is set in a small Midwestern town, according to the press release.
“Heartbreak Hotel” along with other Elvis hits, will be featured. High school students will perform at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 10 and Nov. 11, followed by a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. Nov. 12, the school said.
United Community Bank, Chatham sponsored the production. Tickets cost $8 for adults and $6 for seniors and students, according to the school.
