The city of Athens is accepting bids for renting an estimated 42-acre farm ground in Menard County.
The bid packet states the property is at a city-owned location and includes approximately 34 acres of tillable land.
Rent begins on March 1 and will end three years later on Nov. 30, 2021, a city release said.

Bid forms and packets, which include the legal description and GIS information, may be picked up at the city’s administrative office at 210 Dottie Bednarko Drive in Athens.
Bid forms must be delivered to Athens City Hall at the same address no later than Jan. 4.
