Mount Pulaski Community Unit District #23 Board of Education met January 3.
Here is the minutes provided by the Board:
President Doug Martin called the meeting to order on January 3, 2018, at 6:04 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. Roll call was taken. Present were Aaron Wilham, Jeff Beccue, Deanne Mott, Charlie Hickey, Ashley Combs, and Doug Martin. Eric Cowan was late. Also present were Superintendent Hamm, Principal Terry Morgan, Kevin Handy, and David Pistorius.
President Doug Martin opened the meeting and passed the floor to David Pistorius, from First MidState. He spoke on the bond and proposed referendum.
Kevin Handy had the drawings of the proposed building on display for the community to view. He stated things hadn’t changed since the last meeting. If the referendum passes they will have more detailed drawings quickly. They’re looking into adding one more classroom and a stage.
After Kevin and David spoke to the community they broke off into individual stations along with the Board members for any questions the community had for them.
Motion by Aaron Wilham, second by Ashley Combs, to adjourn at 6:51 p.m. Voice vote. All ayes. Motion carried.
