Menard County Emergency Telephone Systems Board met January 15.
Here is the minutes provided by the Board:
The regular meeting of the Menard County ETSB was called to order by Dave King at 7:00 p.m.
Members Present: John Balster, Jason Huffman, Pat Rebbe, Dave King, Ken Yocom, Karen Boensel, Bob Lott and Ben Hollis.
Members Absent: George Castles, Mike Chandler, and Mike Burg.
Board Minutes:
•A motion to accept the consent agenda of the January 15, 2018, ETSB regular meeting was made by Ken Yocom and seconded by Ben Hollis. All aye. Motion carried unanimously.
•A motion to accept the minutes of December 18, 2017, ETSB regular meeting was made by Bob Lott and seconded by Jason Huffman. All aye. Motion carried unanimously.
•A motion to accept the financial reports as presented was made by Bob Lott and seconded by Jason Huffman. All aye. Motion carried unanimously.
911 Coordinator Report
•The 911 AFR report was completed by John Balster, George Castles and Karen Boensel but has not been filed due to the lack of a user ID and password not received from the State of Illinois. Upon receipt it will be uploaded.
•Dispatch fee statements have been prepared. Greenview Fire and BLS has been combined and will be sent to the Greenview Fire Trustees. With the approval of the 911 Board John will complete and mail.
•Mason County GIS exchange signature and the signature of Dave King on the agreement has been received by the State's attorney.
•Sherman Fire agreement needs signed by Dave King to complete.
PSAP Update:
•Ben updated the Board on the new building that is being constructed for radio equipment at 522 W. Washington Street at the Petersburg Water Tower location. Electric should be completed but door has not been put in place. Ben will check tomorrow and report to Dave King on progress.
Old Business:
•Vineyard Hills Tower door will be installed this weekend.
•The ProQA EMD Software regulations along with the cost of $26,540.00. A discussion of the purchase of this software was had with the 75% first payment and the second and final payment when installed. There is an annual maintenance fee of $2,400. This is an all medical software and Jason and Ben will contact other agencies for assistance in payment and purchase of software. A motion to approve purchase this software was made by Ken Yocom and seconded by Jason Huffman. All aye. Motion carried unanimously.
•CAD server, mapping software, recorder, tower site eastern part of county it was suggested to keep on Nelson.
