Illinois College clay target team ends regular season ahead of national championships

The Illinois College clay target team concluded its regular season on Wednesday, completing Week 5 of the USA Clay Target League at the Jacksonville Sportsman Club.

Adam Stuckemeyer achieved a notable performance in trap shooting, finishing with a total score of 48 and recording the team's only perfect round of the week by hitting 25 targets in his second round. Other top performers in trap included Korina Hecht with a score of 46, and Aurora Baker, Ann Feldhake, and Hannah Hopper each posting scores of 45.

In sporting clays, Hannah Hopper led Illinois College with a score of 43. Andrew Magnus and Adam Stuckemeyer each finished with scores of 42. Korina Hecht followed closely with a score of 41.

Ann Feldhake led the team in skeet shooting, scoring 45. "Hannah Hopper added a 44 while Stuckemeyer had a 42." according to the team's report.

The team will next compete at the National Championships from November 1 to November 3 in Bunker Hill, Illinois.
