Sangamon County Collective Bargaining Committee met February 20.
Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:
Chairman Smith called the meeting to order at 5:04 p.m. Chairman asked for a motion to approve the minutes from December 11th, Bunch made a motion and Madonia seconded. Motion carried (3-0) Chirman asked if there was any public comment. There was none.
Raylene gave the committee updates on a few cases.
Justin updated the committee on the statuses of contracts. He also let the committee know which contracts are coming due for negotiations this year.
Bruce let the committee know that next Monday, the US Supreme Court will hear Janus v. AFSCME.
There was no new or old business.
Chairman Smith asked for a motion to adjourn. Madonia made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Bunch. Motion carried (3-0) and the meeting adjourned at 5:26 pm.
