The special meeting of the Board of Education of the Athens School District, Athens, Illinois was called to order by President Penrod on March 7, 2018 at 6:45 p.m.
Members Present: Gordon, Mayfield, Penrod, Shiffer, Woodrum
Members Absent: Epperson, Ingram
Administrators Present: Laird
Visitors Present: There were several visitors present.
Reception of Visitors, Petitions, Communications
There were no comments from visitors, petitions or communications during the special meeting.
Approval of Agenda
Motion by Mrs. Mayfield, seconded by Mr. Gordon to approve the agenda as presented.

Information Regarding the Building Referendum
Mr. Penrod, Mr. Laird and Mr. Cyrulik presented information about the proposed Building Referendum. Time was allotted for public questions & answers.
